There are so many iterations of Cinderella out there, but the traditional American and British film adaptations can roughly be divided into five categories: animated, modern update, parody, live-action based on the story, and live-action based on the Rodgers and Hammerstein stage musical. There’s a vast pantheon of Cinderella movies - and Cinderella plays and musicals and radio shows and ballets, and basically every sort of adaptation under the sun.
